The Profile Settings page (https://app.processplot.com/user-profile) in ProcessPlot helps you manage your account information, reset your password, and control your organization memberships. Below is a breakdown of everything you can do on this page.
Managing Your Account Information #
- Email Address:
Your current email address is displayed here. If you need to update it:- Edit the email address field.
- Click the Save button to apply the changes.
- Reset Your Password: If you’ve forgotten your password or want to change it, click the Reset password button. An email will be sent to your current address with instructions to reset your password.
Viewing and Managing Your Organizations #
Under the My Organizations section, you’ll see a list of all the organizations you’re associated with. For each organization, you can view the following:
- Name: Displays the names of your organizations. The currently active organization is marked with “(active)” next to its name.
- Role: Shows your role in the organization (e.g., Admin, User).
- Actions: A red “X” button allows you to leave an organization. Be cautious when using this option as leaving an organization removes access to its data.
Setting Up a New Organization #
If you want to create or join a new organization:
- Scroll to the bottom of the My Organizations section.
- Click on “Click to set up a new organization.”
- Follow the instructions provided to add a new organization to your profile.
